THE AGE OF DINOSAURS Through giant sized posters, the story of dinosaurs is told. To enhance the story, a fossilized dinosaur leg bone, weighing five pounds is held by each student. Coprolites and gastroliths are shown for students to guess what they are and how these fossils help the paleontologist learn about the dinosaurs from the past. To culminate the excitement, trace fossils (imprints) of dinosaur skin and feet are created in soft clay by each participant of their favorite dinosaur. K – 3rd Grade
